I saw an interesting Google Trend today - “ZabaSearch” which is a people search engine. The reason it was trending (meaning lots and lots of people were searching for it) had to do with their Zaba Sphere product, which tracks when and where people search for a name on the web.
In this case, they were using it to monitor popularity of each of the 12 American Idol Finalists.
I’ve not used their product (I use NetDetective) but it was interesting to see how the web is such a reflection of modern culture.
