Can a pre-employment background check get information about a private company that is no longer in business?
J.E.Cuevas,
As long as the private company is in the database, you can get information on it even if it is longer in business. Just do a “business search” by name or address. But I have to ask, how could you be considered for employment if the company is no longer in business? Just curious.

I’m not sure but I think the company he is applying to does a background check and he’s concerned about them checking on a company he use to work for but is no longer in business. Btw, I think what you’re doing here is awesome. Keep up the good work.
